Ichikowitz Family Foundation donate blankets for the elderly of Soweto distributed by Mama Winnie Madikizela Mandela.
On Saturday 18 July on Mandela Day, we joined Winnie Madikizela Mandela on Vilikazi Street Soweto, where blankets donated by the IFF were distributed to the elderly of Soweto. Mama Winnie was joined by her grandchildren Zondwa and Zoleka Mandela. Winnie Madikizela Mandela addressed the crowds on the need to rid the country of its ills and work tirelessly to preserve Madiba’s legacy. We also presented Mama with warm jerseys donated for use by military veterans. Minister Jeff Radebe accepted these jerseys on behalf of military veterans, during a day of celebration and remembrance.
