On his popular People of Note radio programme, Classic FM’s Richard Cock will interrogate Ichikowitz’ taste in music, his philosophy on life, and matters in between.

Industrialist and philanthropist Ivor Ichikowitz has a classical streak, and famed musician, conductor and Artistic Director of the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra, Richard Cock is going to find out just how vast his passions are. Certain to be in the mix will be the recent Alma Chamber Orchestra’s Peace and Unity World Tour, sponsored by the Ichikowitz Family Foundation. The 49 piece Parisian orchestra  performed a first of its kind collaboration with the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra and Buskaid’s Soweto String Ensemble. Ivor offers his insights on the week long classical festivities.
