The Ichikowitz Family Foundation, in partnership with Constitution Hill, presents a major new exhibition, IT’S A FINE LINE, a historic multi-media experience

With 2016 ushering in the celebration of twenty years of the South African Constitution, The Ichikowitz Family Foundation is partnering with Constitution Hill to honour this momentous national anniversary, in presenting, for the first time, a major new exhibition of hyper-realistic drawings by acclaimed artist Dean Simon titled, IT’S A FINE LINE – a series of provocative artworks that examine different viewpoints about the people, places and events which heralded our remarkable Constitution.

This multi-media exhibition covers over a century of South Africa’s history and includes a specially-designed high school curriculum guide tailored for teachers and learners to engage fresh perspectives on the study of history and its impact on the landscape we live in today. The Exhibition will launch to a private audience on 17 March and then run from 18 March to 30 April in the Old Fort in the Constitution Hill Precinct, 11 Kotzé Street Braamfontein Johannesburg.

Attending this historic launch will be family members of the icons featured in the Exhibition, including Albert Luthuli, Enoch Sontonga, John Dube, Pixley Seme, Oliver Tambo, Beyers Naudé, Chris Hani, Frederik Van Zyl Slabbert, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and her grandchildren.
